Hansen, a former Bethel resident worked as a musician, skier, technician, cabinetmaker and freelance writer before his first novel, Destiny, was published in May 2015.

The Bethel Library Mollyocket book sale will start Friday July 17th 2015 at 12:00 noon and go until 5:00pm. We will reopen the sale on Sat.July 18th 2015 at 9:00 am and go until 5:00pm.
Please stop by and purchase books at great prices. Hardcovers are $1.00 and paperbacks are .50 cents. All proceeds benifit the Bethel Library for new book, audio CD's and e-books purchases.

Annual Book Sale

Annual Plant Sale

Our Adopt-A-Book Program allows library patrons to donate money for a book that the library has selected for it's collection. A book plate is then placed in the front of the book with the contributor's name along with the name of the person that the book is being donated for, in memory or honor of. Patrons also "purchase" books for birthdays, annerversities, graduations and other holidays. If you would like to Adopt-A-Book please stop by the library or call 824-2520.

Saturday, July 5,2014, 2:00pm "Summer Stories:Maine artist Leslie Anderson will present "Summer Stories", a collection of short stories inspired by her paintings. Two of the book's ten authors, Claire Guyton of Lewiston and Nancy Brown of Bethel, will read from their stories. Anderson will have copies of her paintings and books available
